What is Near Riviera Dunes?

Close to Bradenton, Sarasota, Tampa and St. Petersburg, it is only a short 20-minute drive south to the Sarasota Bradenton airport or 40 minutes to Tampa International Airport. Residents with boats docked at Riviera Dunes can sail five nautical miles to the beaches of Anna Maria Island. They can drive to Holmes Beach about seven miles away.

Only Miami claims to be busier as a Florida filming location than Palmetto. Many filmmakers choose Palmetto for their productions because the cameras love the very photogenic location.
